| Thanksgiving went quite well this year. I spent some time with my in-laws in Canton, OH. As per usual, there was lots of family, food, and game playing. I felt that we did a very good job seeing as many people as possible this year. We saw Derek's immediate family and all of his aunts and uncles, then we tripped up to Hudson, OH to see my college friends, then we traveled around Canton and visited all of Derek's high school friends. I feel that this was quite a successful trip. We will soon be on our way back to Louisville and we are going to stop by to see my parents for a couple of hours. It's been rather crazy and I think that I am literal sick from eating, but man did it taste good. I will say that the nausea was worth it. Yay for the eating holiday, and thank god it's over. Now I will be off to the mall to shop off those extra pounds. Fighting the crowds and running for sales ought to do the trick. Best parts of my Thanksgiving: 1. Eating lots of good food. 2. Watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 3. Watching Knisely family home movies 4. Watching 'Home for the Holidays'. 5. Talking with Aunt Sandy 6. Playing video games with Derek's siblings and not losing every time 7. Decorating the Christmas tree 8. Discussing nog-centric transportation with Evan, Laux, and Kris 9. Playing catch phrase with Derek's high school friends and laughing ... alot. |
